On May 9, GE Jun, Co-Chair of the Board of TOJOY Holding Group, Chairman of the Board and CEO of TOJOY Enterprise Services was invited by the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University to give a lecture for the Tsinghua SEM- Technical University of Munich “Doing Business in China Program”, entitled “How to Succeed in China, Lessons from Multi-National Enterprises.” 

During the lecture of over three hours, GE Jun elaborated on three aspects, opportunities of time granted by Heaven, advantages of situation afforded by the Earth and the union arising from the accord of Men. He described in detail how to understand China's macro-policy, how to choose the zones for business and how to integrate into China's economic environment and cultural atmosphere, and achieve win-wins with China.

In the lecture, GE Jun not only talked about his work experience as Global Vice President at Intel, Apple, and Nvidia, but also shared Chinese stories and experiences under the backdrop of the current economic and geopolitical situation, explaining the profound with an easy-to-understand approach. "Problems emerge one after another, but the solutions often come about in batches", said Jun. “This is how the large multinational enterprises find new opportunities at the current time. Meanwhile, for SMEs, the platforms are the provider of these solutions. Chinese enterprises need platforms to expand overseas. Same for overseas enterprises to enter China.”

The more than 40 participants come from more than 10 countries, all of whom are senior executives in renowned companies. Also, more than a third of the group have received a PhD degree.

This lecture marks the sixth consecutive year that GE Jun has been invited to teach for Tsinghua SEM’s executive education program. During COVID time, GE Jun continued his teaching online and won the "2022 Online Teaching Award" of Tsinghua School of Economics and Management.
