From June 25 to 28, the 2024 Entrepreneur Summer Collaboration Summit and TOJOY Entrepreneur Incubator 3.0 Strategy Launch was held in Beijing. The event focused on five key investment sectors and attracted over 30 unicorns and potential unicorns for roadshows. Approaching its 33rd anniversary, TOJOY also officially launched its Entrepreneur Incubator 3.0 strategy at the same event.

Jointly organized by the China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) and TOJOY, the Summit was attended by former Chancellor of Austria Werner Faymann, President of the China Association of Public Companies Song Zhiping, Executive President and Secretary-General of the CGCC Wang Min, President of the Beijing Yaoyang Foundation Jiang Dan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOJOY Shared Group Lu Junqing, and Co-Chair of the Board of TOJOY Shared Group, Chairman of the Board and CEO of TOJOY Enterprise Services GE Jun, along with over a thousand entrepreneurs.

Highlighting Five Key Sectors in the New Economy

During the event, over 30 unicorns and potential unicorns from five promising sectors, including platform economy, big health, rural revitalization, energy saving and environment protection, and digital economy, were featured. They compared notes and shared collaboration and development opportunities, which showcased the vitality of China’s innovative enterprises.

Wang Min, Executive President and Secretary-General of the CGCC, stated in his opening remarks that cooperation is the source of development and the foundation of win-win outcomes. With the empowerment of platforms, many traditional entrepreneurs found paths to transformation, while many new economy enterprises achieved accelerated growth and created new value for the society.

In his remarks, GE Jun stated that China’s economy is currently at a critical stage of transformation and upgrading, with technological innovation as a major driving force. However, in his view, the primary driving force for economic transformation is not just technological innovation, but also the entrepreneurship that supports it.

In his speech, GE Jun stated that the TOJOY Entrepreneur Incubator 3.0 strategy will provide stronger support for innovative enterprises on their path to becoming unicorns.

In terms of addressing the declining number of new unicorns, GE Jun believes that leveraging effective resources to drive the development of innovative enterprises is the key. 

Entrepreneur Incubator 3.0 Strategy: Build a Collaborative Incubation Ecosystem

At the Opening Ceremony of the Summit, Chairman Lu Junqing also announced the official launch of the TOJOY Entrepreneur Incubator 3.0 Strategy.
